Providing learners with an environment that is conducive to learning is very important for us.

It is our pupils right to have access to modern teaching aids.

Our facilities therefore includes well equipped classrooms; up-to-date Media Centre; Science and Bio Laboratories; Art and Design Technology Rooms and a fully equipped Computer Room

Sport

The greatest wealth is health.

Sporting facilities available at Khanyisa includes, a Cricket Pitch and Nets; all weather Basketball, Netball and Volley Ball Courts, three Soccer Pitches and a Swimming Pool. Our students extra-mural achievements is living proof of the preparing students for life skills that only sport can teach.

Accommodation

Khanyisa opened its brand new Boarding House in January 2001. Boarders are accommodated in 5 boarding houses, each designed to accommodate 10 learners only. Each boarding house has a qualified House Parent, who is also a teacher at Khanyisa.

Boarders have after hours supervised access to facilities such as the Computer Centre, Media Centre, sports equipment, audio visual equipment and the swimming pool.

Each Boarding House has been designed to closely simulate a family environment. It is believed that this will create a safe, caring and nurturing atmosphere in which learners can flourish
